Established in 1980 Gepetto Toy Craft is a New Zealand company specialising in the manufacture of handmade wooden toys for babies. Their manufacturing process has been perfected through the years and now produces the highest quality product based on traditional European craftsmanship, combining safety and style in a long lasting wooden toy designed to stimulate and entertain.

The wood used in Gepetto's toys, is the locally grown sycamore maple - a readily regenerating species they harvest annually for toy production. Typical of the maple family this hardwood is non-splintering, strong, durable and well recognised for its excellent turning and finishing charateristics. 

Gepetto's range of wooden toy's have been designed for babies up to 12 months of age:

• Enabling them to use their hands and mouths to explore;
